Eugen Pora High School

Cost-effective, durable cladding solutions for a modern educational facility

The renovation of Eugen Pora High School in Cluj-Napoca was carried out by our trusted Romanian partner GIBB Technologies, requiring a façade solution that combined durability, design flexibility and long-term reliability.

Working with architect Tegra Plus and contractor Geo Construct, a ventilated façade system using Hardie® Panel was implemented to support the building’s thermal rehabilitation while introducing a vibrant and contemporary identity.

The result is a refreshed educational building that balances technical performance with architectural expression.

Durable. Flexible. Expressive.

The façade concept combines a carefully selected colour palette with the precision of ventilated façade technology.

Anthracite grey panels are complemented by accents in RAL 1012, RAL 1003 and RAL 6011, creating a dynamic and visually engaging exterior suited to an educational environment.

The ability to realise multiple colours within one system allowed the design to move beyond pure functionality and introduce identity into the building.

Hardie® Panel was chosen to meet the requirements of the renovation, offering a robust and low-maintenance solution for the upgraded building envelope.

Installed as a ventilated façade, the system supports the building’s thermal rehabilitation while ensuring long-term durability and consistent performance.

Its flexibility in colour and format enabled precise adaptation to the architectural vision without compromising on efficiency or installation quality.
